Macdougal might be the dumbest dog alive — and we say that with complete affection.
At around 4 years old, this beefy, cleft-palate sweetheart is made entirely of love, loyalty, and extremely questionable decisions. His tongue is almost always out, his teeth are rarely all the way in, and his brain… well, it's working very part-time. But Macdougal is pure joy wrapped in fur, and he’s got a heart the size of a hay bale.
Born with a cleft palate, Macdougal sports a permanently derpy expression, complete with exposed “toofers” and a tongue that just can’t quite stay in his mouth. He's an overgrown child who wants nothing more than to be accepted by the pigs. Unfortunately, the pigs do not feel the same way. But Macdougal isn’t giving up. He follows them around gently, wagging, hopeful, and oblivious.
Macdougal has also self-appointed himself as Hank’s second-in-command — though Hank most certainly did not approve this promotion. He trails behind Hank on patrols, barks at whatever Hank barks at (sometimes delayed), and looks very important doing absolutely nothing.
Despite being a bit short on common sense, Macdougal is full of love and loyalty. He fits in perfectly here — even if no one really knows what he's doing.
